     FEATURED STORY

                     Sloan, Beckett & Maclain

We just finished a two and a half hour successful lemonade stand in our Beaumont Reserve neighborhood and it was so worth the heat and frustration of a slow start !! My kids said they were hot and when I reminded them of those that are struggling at times to have  a nice cozy home they immediately changed

their attitude
and drummed up the business!! We had cars waiting in line (well a short one :) for our lemonade and sending their families back again. People were so kind to give their thanks to Sloan, Beckett and Maclain for what they were doing but also were so generous in not wanting change returned. It was heartwarming for myself and my kids to see people working together. My daughter Sloan put it nicely, "Mommy, if all the people in the world were like that kind lady can you imagine what our world would be like?" THANK YOU Salvation Army for letting us help and in turn helping us to instill COMPASSION into our children...... Thanks!!!!!

We will see you again next year ....definitely!!!

Blessings,
The Cromwell Crew

P.S. We made 8 gallons of watermelon, cherry and strawberry lemonade...at one point we ran out and the "team" voted to go home and make two more gallons!!  What fun!
